About Me

I graduated from VCFA with my MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults in July 2015. I hold a position as an Adjunct Professor of English at the County College of Morris, instructing first year students on beginning composition and grammar, and I teach creative writing classes at two local adult schools. I’ve been involved with SCBWI since 2008 and founded the NJ-SCBWI’s critique group for children’s writers in Westfield, NJ. For three years, I was a group coordinator for Women Who Write, a cross-genre New Jersey based writing group for women.

Currently, I live in New Jersey with my husband, our two girls, and our black Labrador retriever.
