I’m making my way through my summer reading list and recently finished the following:

Books I Like A Lot:

Matched by Ally Condie.  Young Adult.  I read several books about dystopian societies in a row and this one really stuck with me.  I’m looking forward to the sequel due out in November.

The Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.  Young Adult.  This was one of the most widely referenced books at the NJ SCBWI conference this past June.  I had to put a hold on it at the library, waiting my turn to take it out.  Now I understand why.
